I am a Filipina whose passion is geared towards travel and writing.  I love to travel in a budget, the cheaper the better, but one that is rich in experiences and learning. Recounting those trips while focusing on feelings and impressions and penning random thoughts of mine on any topic are just two of my interests.

as of December 23, 2013:

I’m a little sad, yet joyful.  After three months of blogging, I started in September 2013, I realized that I am not really true to my blog’s name.  It still holds true that I love to travel in a budget, one that is rich in experiences and learning, but I’m not actually constantly on the road, and God knows when.  I might be at the edge trying to scrimp my budget for daily necessities and my luxurious dream of traveling to places, but I’m nowhere what one can consider a traveler.

I started this blog without knowing that the choice of a blog’s name, its caption and even the choice of a theme could greatly influence the direction we want our blog to follow.  This makes me sad.  And since I don’t often go online, my education is slow.  Browsing through other blogs made me see my own to be ambitious, but found lacking.

There and then, I decided to change my blog’s name from ‘by the road…at the edge’ to ‘Corner Dreamer.”  After all, I am just another person having her little corner in the blogosphere, dreaming of far away places made near by blogs I happen to encounter.  I could still recount those few places I’ve gone to and feature blogs of places that captivates me, serving as a challenge for me to visit them one day.

I’m hopeful again.  This makes me joyful. 🙂

  1. So you decided to join the small clan of Uncle Spike followers, sometimes known as The Spikey’s…. That makes me a happy blogger now – I really appreciate you making that special mouse click.
Hope you like my upcoming posts and if you get bored one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too.
If you have any likes, dislikes or suggestions about my blog, just let me know, either through ‘comments’ or via email. Always welcome reader input 🙂
    Have a great old day…
